( University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio ) A CTRC neurosurgeon used a tiny catheter to insert radioactive liposomes, only 100 nanometers across, into the stubborn tumor in David Williams' brain. The therapy, developed at the CTRC in San Antonio, offers hope to those suffering from the most devastating brain cancers, and could be expanded to treat other types of cancer as well.
